With their round shape and golden color, crêpes are said to mirror the sun and hint at brighter days ahead, and honestly, we’ll take any excuse for eating crêpes.

Yes, ]We Love Crêpes! Recently we made-up a batch, then used the last of a roasted chicken (large dices) to add protein to our meal, then made a delicious garlicky wine sauce, added in the chicken, and served it both inside and over our crêpes .

Creamy Garlic Sauce with Chicken Chunks
- Sauté the garlic and herbs in butter.
- Add chicken broth and warmed cream or half and half to the pan, bring it to a simmer, and cook until the sauce has reduced, about 5 minutes.
- Add in the chicken chunks.
- Make a quick slurry to thicken the sauce by whisking 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1–2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl or cup, until smooth. Then slowly stir this mixture into your hot, simmering sauce and cook for 1–2 minutes until it reaches the desired thickness, then take off the heat.

Crêpes are easy and such a sophisticated treat!
