In 2019, there’s more to Miami than just Miami Beach. In the past, a Miami vacation was focused on Ocean Drive and near by attractions including the beaches, but then along came “Miami Basil” (an international art fair) which ushered in a renaissance to a rundown industrial area called Wynwood, near downtown Miami. Today this trendy Miami Arts District is full of the best art galleries bars and restaurants. Local breweries are inserting themselves too and are becoming a big draw. The Wynwood has become the place to see art, dine, spend time and money. It’s full of retail shops and all things trendy, plus places to hang out.

Don’t miss Wynwood Walls and painted buildings and sample the 100 craft beers and micro-brews at dozens of tasting stations. Some of South Florida’s top restaurants, including R House, Red the Steakhouse, KYU and others have helped to make Wynwood a destination for locals and visitors alike.
