Quality Italian Restaurant

In Denver it’s an Indoor/outdoor dining experience.

Quality Italian (Denver & NYC) is a modern interpretation of an Italian-American Steakhouse; serving a cross between Italian-American cuisine, regional Italian cuisine, and traditional steakhouse fare. They use high-quality ingredients from Italy as well as from the United States. The restaurant references the flavors, style and tableside flair of that whole Italian classic genre. Continuing the tradition of their sister restaurant “Quality Meats” in NYC, Quality Italian references old‑world butcher shops in its design, drawing inspiration from the traditional butcher guilds found throughout Italy. These guilds were responsible for maintaining quality control for the meat sold throughout the country, and Quality Meats and Quality Italian (x2) reference the significant role these guilds played in Italian culture and Italian traditions.

In New York City, the crested flags from each of the guilds and a series of butchers’ utility pieces were sourced from turn‑of‑the‑century butchers’ guild buildings and re‑purposed into art features, wall coverings, dividing screens and floor‑to‑ceiling cabinetry. Hand‑blown glass is utilized and displayed prominently in the custom lighting fixtures throughout the NYC restaurant, which boasts two entire walls of windows, giving guests a unique vantage point of bustling midtown Manhattan.

In Denver, through welcoming reclaimed wood doors, the warm, industrial interior has unique art features throughout and the wine storage is a visual focus for the space. A large central bar with dynamic cocktails and extensive wine offerings lend a convivial tone to the dining experience. The full menu is served in the adjacent lounge. In the warmer months, the exterior garage doors are open for an indoor/outdoor dining ambiance. In addition to a la carte dining, Quality Italian offers both private and semi-private dining options for events and special occasions.

Quality Italian is a restaurant known for its world-class cuisine and ®ARTS&FOOD’s Zane Beck has checked it out for us.
