In a wonderful collaboration between photographer Sandro Miller and actor John Malkovich the team has created a “Homage to Photographic Masters”. In 2013 photographer Sandro Miller decided to do a project honoring the men and women who had influenced his photographic career. After selection thirty-five images to emulate, Sandro contacted actor John Malkovich, who agreed to participate.
Renowned photographer Sandro Miller along with Malkovich as his dashing unisex model has recreated some of the most iconic portraits in a series called “Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to photographic masters. ”
The series puts Malkovich’s masterful acting talents front and center. Miller re-creates each portrait’s amazing lighting, mood and composition perfectly, while Malkovich replicates the subject’s emotions and expressions. And it was all done without Photoshop!
