The New Zealand Sounds – Dusky, Doubtful, and Milford, also known as Fiordland are some of the most beautiful untouched areas of New Zealand. As most people I was traveling with noted, “It’s like entering Jurassic Park!” Traveling by ship through the sounds is an amazing experience that allows you to see the vastness of nature and the power of Mother Nature.
Even in the height of summer in New Zealand, the sounds are usually cooler than the rest of the region. You can still see snow on some of the mountain peaks, yet at the same time, you are surrounded by waterfalls and lush greenery. Take a look at the gallery below.
