The Bard would have been 456 years old this year (he passed away in 1616). The man who gave us Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth and so many famous plays, quotes, and memes is available for streaming online these days.

Hulu has the Hailee Steinfeld film version of Romeo & Juliet. Disney+ has She’s the Man, an adaptation of Twelfth Night, and Amazon has some of the greatest Shakespeare productions ever committed to film.

If you want to stream Shakespeare’s works on Prime Video, currently there is King Lear, starring Anthony Hopkins. Prime Video’s library is full of Shakespeare plays, including a number of BBC productions of Shakespeare, including Helen Mirren in As You Like It and A Midsummer Night’s Dream–Patrick Stewart in MacbethIan McKellan’s Richard III and Fiona Shaw’s gender swap of Richard II and more.
