SHRIMP THAT TASTES LIKE LOBSTER!

“LOBSTER SHRIMP” –

Argentinean Red Shrimp taste a lot like lobster, but it’s much less expensive. RECIPE – We boiled them in Old Bay Seafood Seasoning (thawed the shrimp in cold water right in the package—changing the water several times—boiled some slightly salted water, added two tablespoons of old bay, put the whole package of thawed shrimp into the boiling/seasoned water and let them cook until perfect. (When to stop the boiling? Note: Raw shrimp typically turn from grey to pink when boiled. These shrimp do not–they change from pink, their natural raw color, into a chalky pink, making it difficult to judge when they are done. Cooking these shrimp 4-5 minutes was perfect for our pot.)—Remove the shrimp from the water with a wire scoop, add some ice cubes to the bowl of cooked shrimp, stirring occasionally, then after a few minutes of cooling, put the bowl, covered, in the freezer to cool completely.

Argentinean Red Shrimp should be cooked in Old Bay seasoned water, shells on!

When cooled they are ready to peel and eat.

First, you must to try these shrimp simply dipped into melted salted butter. THIS IS SO GOOD!!! Just like eating lobster. You might want to cook two bags if your dinner is for four people!

A classic presentation of Shrimp Cocktail. The spicy cocktail sauce is in the bottom of the glass, with a squeeze of lemon juice, floating on top

– The other presentation option is the classic shrimp cocktail, with red cocktail sauce, lemon juice, and four shrimp for each glass (the finial tail stays on for ornamentation), and looks great served in a martini glass!

We highly recommend these Argentinian Red Shrimp!
