A new year, a new day, a fresh start – another chance to get it right!
One of the aspects of publishing I enjoy the most is the fact that it’s a cycle… each publication has a beginning and an end, then you begin again! This is the same if you are publishing a daily, a weekly, a bi-weekly, a monthly, a bi-monthly, a quarterly, a bi-annual or an annual. Interestingly during my career, I have worked on every one of these options and each one has been a tremendous amount of work, with long hours and a big push at the deadline. One would think that the more you spread out the publication date, the less pressure there would be, but it seems in publishing, this is the way of the world.
